The wonderful wizard of Oz...

So, it was my birthday today, like it is every year around this time. Woke up and opened some cards and prezzies, then had the day off work to spend with my mum.

Watched Oz in 3D IMAX - really is pretty impressive as 3D goes. Much sharper and a 'deeper' feel. Good film too which tried to carry the same technicolor feel and was largely successful. Yes the effects were a bit overdone in places but on the whole I would say it's a success. Some beautiful set pieces and CGI.

Just watched racing legends on Stirling Moss (truly amazing guy) and now settled down for a bit of Harry potter Lego on the wii - with Crabbies by my side. Spiffing!
