Perspective

This old beast of an appliance has to be regularly checked just to make sure that all is in good working order. So today I took a couple of "Probies" up in the Cage for a wee "fly".

The weather was fab and you could see for miles around but I was intreagued to see how small the drill tower looked when we were so high above it.

And as I looked at it, it was a good reminder of the importance of keeping things in perspective.

As I said, from the ground, our drill tower looks a decent height, but from this view it looks so small and it reminded me when we are initially confronted by problems they can often seem overwhelming.

But it's always good to take a step back and look at the bigger picture... Or to talk it thru with a trusted friend... and suddenly the perspective of the issue can change.
