Into Position

I spent an enjoyable hour while our vehicle was being greased watching the many workers at the waterfront pathway. They are laying thousands and thousands of blocks at a rapid pace. Today, the electricians went to work bringing in new light fixtures that will illuminate all this work and make the path safe after dark. I am pretty confident the work will be completed before the upcoming election (6 June) which is a good thing because if we get a new mayor priorities tend to shift and there is no guarantee of money for the "other guy's" projects.
