Withlacoochee Trail

What a wonderful day!!!!!   The weather was perfect....  sunny, breezy, blue skies, fellow bike riders, and terrific food!
Top L,  The trailhead sign with my car, Sweet Pea and Silver;    Top R;  As we road down the wonderful rail to trail,  a waterslide in the backyard of one of the homes backing up to the paved trail.  Bottom L;   3 bikes, painted to say Hi as trail riders biked bye....;    Burger Station...
At the end of a 12 mile ride was this restaurant.  Friends of mine said that the most delicious hamburgers could be found there.  We locked the bikes up, went inside and ordered  a hamburger each and a soda.  When they arrived, the smell was to die for, it came with french fries, cole slaw, and pickles.   We ate like we hadn't seen food in 2 days!   Ice cream cones were had for desert.  It tasted oh, sooooo good!!!!
       Then we rode back to the trailhead, exhilarated, and really happy.  Pam and I had a wonderful ride.  Both of us were tired and grateful that even at our ages we were healthy, strong and motivated to get out in the fresh air, get away from the news, TV, and the couch,  and make memories and enjoy the beauty of nature.  I bet I am going to sleep really, really, well!!!!!!!
