International Women's Day

I went to a coffee morning for International Women's Day. Not being part of the organising group, I was not involved in producing the excellent refreshments some of which you can see here. However, I did take part in a quiz produced by Oxfam about women and their lives and was shocked by how little I knew. It seemed a lot of other people felt the same way as Team Rosali (Alison and me) actually won.

I think perhaps the message is that we need to be thinking about women and their lives for more than one day a year!
