A great day yesterday, we meet up with friends and went out to Aldenham, a village not too far from us both in North London. The countryside was beautiful, all the trees are coming into leaf and are a lovely bright green. The walk took us past an old church, a village green, stately homes, woods and out to a ford and little river. It was at the ford that M realised he had lost his phone so we had to backtrack to perhaps find it - no luck. We stopped at a shopping village to get some lunch and rang the phone, it was answered by a lady who lived around the corner so we went and collected it, all was right with world again.
We stopped at a pub for a late lunch sitting in the sun in the garden.
