Posting From The River

Today's image was again taken on the river path alongside the River Medway in Aylesford. It has been a fairly constant source of images since I starred blipping.
This is a quayside which has long been abandoned to nature but for some reason I love the mix between the metal posts, the concrete surface and the plants and small trees that have managed to establish themselves despite such a spartan environment. I even love the graffiti on the post in the foreground - it almost has a calligraphic (not sure if that is an actual word!) aspect to it.
