Usually by this time of year mum, dad and the kids are climbing aboard these vessels which offer self-drive adventures on the Caledonain Canal and the inter-connecting lochs. At the moment they are all tied up, but maybe not for long. While I was down there I checked out my friend Jimmy's boat. The flowers and the story I left are gone, as I thought they might be.
