Red tulip

Today I had a great day assisting Julia with her photo shoots of toddlers in a Springtime studio session with yellow tulips and lemons.

These red tulips (there are five) are in a flower bed that Rob dug over last year to plant a hedge. I have no idea how they survived but I am very glad they did. See them in the extra in bud, where they don't look such a deep red.
