Hiding.

I went for an early walk at a local nature reserve and it was oh so quiet. I kept thinking of Rachel Carson's book -Silent Spring. and having read lots about the decline of birds and wildlife I found this morning a bit depressing.  But it is still cold so maybe Spring is currently on hold. I hope so.  I did hear a cuckoo which was wonderful!
