Dove’s holiday

Walked to the goats. On the return Mr B pointed at a dove sitting above a Mercedes Sport dashboard.

Chatted through the window to the owners. They acquired the dove at the beginning of Covid, so now one year old. He has the ‘run’ of the house. And they let it out in the garden, and even when away on trips, and it always flies back. They were staying in a hotel here (key workers?)

It was a little nervous, because of the seagulls nearby. Understandably.

Blipper ‘Crispin’ kindly messaged saying a local shop had artichokes, and did I want any. Of course I did, and I remembered my new upstairs neighbour liked them.

So collected them later, and we had a chat and tea with ‘Crispin’ and his lovely wife.
