Geology at the Trinkie

Small 'steps' of rock, maybe 1-2" tall, out near the Trinkie outdoor pool on South Head.  What caught my eye was the shadows and the zigzag line they create.  Also tried it in black & white, but the orange lichen leads the eye around the frame, so kept it in colour.
