Flowers

We had a busy day.  It started with a very overdue haircut and then out to a garden centre (in the new car of course - not sure how impressed Rich was with mud in the boot of his new car...,  back home to do some work on the grass.  We dug up a few areas and put down some turf, not sure how it will bed in but the grass was not good and needed to be replaced.  We also dug up loads of leather jackets at the same time, it does seem they are what is killing our grass.  Still more work to do on the grass and now this section will need watering.

In the afternoon we had a couple from down the road in for drinks in the garden.  It was very nice to feel normal.
