The bottom of the sea

It was so clear today we could see right down to the bottom of the sea. Beautiful sunny day for a walk so we made the most of it to a quiet spot with a picnic.

My evening walk around the village takes me past the Common Gull colony. So sad to see these gulls all homeless as the canal works are using the area they usually nest to store all their junk. They will be in trouble if the nest regardless as all their machinery will be stuck here. See extra
