Peeping through

More snow yay! Am I the only who absolutely loves it? Even though I spent an hour digging the drive to get the car out so Kate could go to Jessica's birthday party and so I could go and buy some socks (desperate for). I love it. Everything seems quieter and looks beautiful. It's the simple things for me, just like this plant peeping through the white blanket.

Taken at the end of the Ma in law's street. Years ago apparently (I don't believe everything the husband tells me) a nature reserve opened by David bellamy. That would have been big news for Leadgate.
