The same again
An excessively blown-up iPhone photo.
I don't usually see foxes in daylight. This one came frequently a few weeks ago, and last week it appeared again at 7 pm looking towards the kitchen window. I did at first think it had the beginnings of mange, because the end of its tail looked as if it was moulting, but I have decided it is the work of this magpie.
In the past I got some medicine from South Essex Wildlife Hospital and after one pill the fox with mange was visibly better.
The extra (added later) shows the tail without the magpie. There are patches on the fox's side but they are not likely to be mange, as they've been there for weeks and not spread.
