Ok update time!

Haven't been writing very much lately as I've just been getting on with life.

Today is Sunday, on Tuesday I arrived at work the senior staff were supposed to swap on Friday but once couldn't make it in, so I was due to spend the weekend in charge of the technical side of things at work and have someone come to assist on Monday. On that same Friday Perth had a few covid cases! So Western Australia went into lockdown and there will be no staff movement. So now I'm set to be here for who knows how long doing my job and my seniors job.

Today I was running all over the place had to visit a rig 2 hours north drilling on the lake and then rush back to work on a weekly report that was actually two weeks worth of reporting, most of which I wasn't even here for! All while maintaining social distance and wearing masks.

I did 14 hours of work today and forgot my charger so can't do more at my donga (portacabin home) I guess I'll just get up extra early tomorrow. The report is due in at 9 and then I have meetings all morning, not sure when I will actually be doing the work that needs to be done here!

Not much of an update but it's what is happening right now.

It's a pretty daunting prospect but it is also an opportunity for me to show what I can do!
