Flying Buzzard

As we went for our walk we could hear the tannoy system at Kelsall Hill Equestrian Centre so we took a diversion to see what was going on. There was clearly a big event as there were dozens of horse boxes on the far side. Even though it wasn't advertised there must have been a large number of people attending. As a football fan the rules about events can be frustrating.

My extra shows a rider away from the main event. The main picture shows a buzzard that was flying very low on the edge of the centre.

Incidentally I am a bit more doubtful about the firecrest we spotted yesterday. I had identified it by the flash of orange on the head but my friend, who I met at the football yesterday, sent me a picture of a goldcrest showing that they also display orange in courtship or as a threat. I would  need to go back to confirm either way

Lands End to John O'Groats 1000 Mile Virtual Challenge Update

Day 76 -  Wiltshire. 5.7 miles walked. 303.4 miles completed

I passed the 300 mile barrier today as I walked through Corston (not the Midsomer Murders one) and then Malmesbury. Two more places with which I am unfamiliar.
