Mr Tickle

This is my very good friend Mr Tickle.  Like me, he came into cricket far too late in life, but he enjoys it immensely and has become a stalwart of our village Third XI.  We had a club get together and practice game in order to remember which end of the cricket bat to hold before the new season starts next weekend.  It looks from this photo as if Mr Tickle has just remembered that actually, he's not as good as his might have thought he was.  That, I guess, is the beauty of a long close season.  

Don't worry Mr Tickle, you're going to have a lot of fun this year!
