The Breaking Wave

Headed out a bit earlier for my walk today so I could be back in time for the football on the telly. United were at Pittodrie in the Scottish Cup Quarter Final. Was fearing a nervy afternoon and then going out on penalties but the team put in a great performance - the high pressing game forced mistakes from Aberdeen and it was comfortable 3-0 win. First time we've won there in a Scottish Cup tie and it showed the value of the wholesale team changes for the Killie game in mid-week. The whole team were really up for it and dominated much of the game apart form a short spell before the first goal.  And Leeds got a draw against Man Utd, another of the Super League Six so a good football day all round!
