A lovey day out

We intended going out last night to catch a sunset, but once evening came round we were a bit lethargic, so changed our mind. 
This morning we decided to go for a drive before we did anything else, so went to the Gather community cafe at Ennerdale, they are only doing carry outs at the moment, we got coffee and scones and then onto Cold Fell to eat our snack. While there a party of riders came down from the fell, on their way back to Bradley's trecking centre. Here I managed to get my blip. It was such a lovely morning, we decided to carry on over the fell road instead of going home. We ended up at Ravenglass, the Ratty opens next week and we thought the staff would be working, but it was very quiet.

We walked through the field and Bluebell wood that leads down to the beach. The Bluebells need another week or so, but I think there will be a good show.  (Extra)
