Celebration!

This is Chris, he has spent 25 years (initially with his wife who sadly passed away over ten years ago) creating a written form for a language, and then translating the Bible into it. Today they celebrated having completed the New Testament (and portions of the Old). Sadly, he and his two kids weren’t able to go to Mozambique (where they used to live as a family) for the celebration due to COVID, but a lot of us watched it on zoom instead. We were privileged to have him and his son round for a bbq and Prosecco cocktails to celebrate in the evening. A fun evening, with a fair amount of laughter.
