Longsleddale

I thought the ground might be dry enough for a ride home from Shap summit via Wet Sleddale and Mosedale, Longsleddale and Kentmere.   Wet Sleddale was a pleasant Barely Moist Sleddale but Mosedale didn't disappoint with a couple of deep pools on the track to cool down the feet.

A lapwing, GS woodpecker, lots of skylarks & wheatears, a couple of curlews and what sounded like a golden plover.
