“We’ve got a pigeon in the house” ...

... which is what NoaNoa said very calmly.

It made us laugh. We’ve had a few unexpected moments today.

- Elbows walked into a thorny bush that tore his ear. It was a little like a failed cartilage piercing.
- Our BBQ ran out of gas before anything was cooked.
- A bottle blew over in the wind and smashed.
- A pigeon joined us inside, denying Covid guidelines about mixing households.
- DI Kate Fleming was held at gunpoint.

But much more significantly, we had a delightful afternoon with friends who came for lunch after church.
