From Carrick to Porto

Off to Ayrshire today - Ayr for meeting, then to the great (& busy) Carrick Centre in Maybole for another meeting - hearing about plans to energise Carrick & wider area. Lots to think about - as well as a history lesson.

Quick stop off at the Peter Howson exhibition From Death to Life at the Maclaurin Gallery - blip is the entrance to the gallery. Fascinating & entrancing work. Well worth a visit - the new gallery shop is lovely too!

Then back to Edinburgh, to Stills, to chat to visitors from north Portugal about creative industries in rural areas - and a shared appreciation of FC Porto.

Long day. Never dull though.
