Cactus

I get my love of gardening from my mom. Her garden is beautiful even now, when the flowering plants have taken their bow and the leaves are falling like yellow rain...

The mild climate has created the perfect environment for an enormous variety of succulents and cacti...all living together on a gorgeous rock garden and occupying a number of clay pots and other nooks and crannies.

This one caught my eye today. It is small and looks soft, fuzzy and harmless until you touch it. Somewhat like a feral kitty...but that's tomorrow's blip.
