New Victoria Hospital

I’m over in the west taking mum to her dermatology outpatient clinic at the New Victoria Hospital in Battlefield, Glasgow.

The hospital opened in 2009 as a replacement for the neighbouring Victoria Infirmary, and is a very pleasant hospital (if there is such a thing to visit). We even managed to find a parking space quite easily.

When they built the new hospital, they included bits of the old school that had been there previously, as you can see. Turns out that my dad had gone through these same archways when it had been a school, all these years ago.

Just waiting for my mum to have some biopsies done.
