Now

Well it was "now" when I took this picture.  I think it's a male grey mining bee and one with which I am not very familiar.  It was wandering around on the patio in grave danger of being trodden on, so I moved it out of harms way.  I believe they like to pollinate oil-seed rape, and if so, it's got a way to go to find any.  Looks much better in large view.

A quiet day waiting in for a parcel, so I did all the ironing with my new cordless iron, which I have to say is very needy.  I've no sooner taken it off the stand than it's beeping at me to put it back, so I'm not sure which of us is in charge.
