Bagels !

Having mastered making rolls which were round I decided to further extend my repertoire today by making bagels. Additional steps involved making the hole in the centre and then boiling each one for  a couple of minutes before baking.  

I am pleased by how they turned out - not only do they look bagel-ish, the one we sampled went rather well with cream cheese. 

The blue skies have departed with showers following in their wake  - this of course "is good for the garden" and gave me time to get on with various admin tasks.
