Mostly Mono Monday

Today has been a sunny day largely wasted. Plans to hit the Devon coast faltered when Janet didn't sleep well and didn't feel up to a journey. That seemed to drop the day out of me a bit, and I've mostly been listening to audio books and faffing. 

Unfortunately it may turn out to have been the last very sunny day for a while, as a new weather front slides over us. Ah well. The sub-theme of 'now' really said Bluebells to me - that's what is now at the moment. But black bluebells, oh dear me no. So it's a blue and black mono.

I've one more day of antibiotics left. I can't tell you how much I almost stumbled as I walked around the village today and past the now welcoming beer garden. The toothless gap now appears to be healing and there's a midweek pint already being lined up.
