Peek-a-boo!

I wasn’t expecting to see any goslings today but afte doing some holiday food shopping I nipped along to the Heritage Park for a final look before heading through to Elie tomorrow.

I knew by the way the goose had her wings spread that she was obviously sheltering her goslings. Dad was on watch ready to defend his little family.

I could just see one little head having a cautious look around but when mum stood up four wee goslings fell from their cosy spot under mum’s wings.

I expect that there will be plenty more arrivals in the coming weeks but I expect it will be sometime till Mrs Swan shows us her youngsters.
