Amelanchier lamarckii

I have never known a name for this other than Amelanchier but google tells me they are also known as Shadbush.  They make a good if not very long lasting display in spring, followed by berries which the Blackbirds really enjoy.

The dry spell continues but today was very cloudy and towards afternoon it looked like rain.  So I made sure my jobs were either in the greenhouse or shed.   Some much needed jobs dealt with.
