First living creatures I saw this morning - they must be the same couple as I saw a few mornings ago! They were having a good old preen and a scratch (as you do, first thing).

Spent a couple of hours litter picking up at St Bernard's Well and environs. Was somewhat distracted by a flurry of messages on the phone, which resulted in me spending the afternoon booking up trains and boats to Orkney so that I can be present at Ogatodomar's burial on Friday. What a journey (his and mine)!
