What a day...
Got another investor into the game, and they got their first contract today! Which is pretty cool. Call came in late last night for a property that had been knocked down in price, we couldn't do anything, my primary investor couldn't do anything, so kinda ran it past a friend of mine. Little over an hour later we had a solution.
The property went under contract earlier today to them, and if they get it - it'll be a total steal.
Today was going a little slow because of that, just ensuring we were around for any questions and making sure nothing derailed. As we kinda know the seller anyway we were able to stay in the loop rather nicely.
When I finally got to work this afternoon - it was time for bathroom tub and shower install. I hate jobs where I have to drill holes in expensive things. If I get the hole wrong, it's a bad place to be and a lot of hassle to fix. I hate these types of jobs.
But after 2 hours of procrastinating I plucked up courage and got on with the job. Maybe an hour or so later we had one bathtub fitted. It'll need a bit of fettling tomorrow with some build outs with a 2x4 or 6, but it'll be rather good when done.
I'll grab the wood tomorrow and see where I get to. With any luck I can add to the existing studs, screw the bath down, install the new shower surround, and get the drywall finished. Which leaves Sunday to mud the whole lot - which will be fun!
And then I have to fix the wall that I bashed out to get the new bath in. It's in the back of a cupboard, but still needs fixing....
