Full Moon on Monday

What a glorious Monday it was - just everything you would want a spring day to be - and my husband and I spent it in the woods. We came home in time to watch the moon rise, golden and full.

April's moon is called the pink moon, the fish moon, the sprouting grass moon, the egg moon. This one was also considered a supermoon, which is cool. So in honor of this auspicious event, please enjoy this photo of April's full moon, peeking through the leaves!

There was a song that I was thinking of that I thought would be perfect for this shot, but it turns out that the title is NEW Moon on Monday, not FULL moon. But what the heck, we'll go with it! Here's Duran Duran.
