Alchemilla Mollis .....

aka Lady's Mantle. The plant takes its name from the Arabic, meaning little magical one, as in the Middle Ages the water collected from its leaves after a morning dew was said to have healing properties.

You will often find large droplets of water gathered in the base of the fan shaped leaves and today being such a miserably wet day there were plenty of raindrops to photograph.

Weather has turned really chilly again ..... no longer tee-shirt weather, back to gloves, fleeces and jackets.
