Mixed emotions

It's been one of those days today. Couldn't concentrate on class and then had some big conversations (as AndyVB likes to put it).

The evening brought the election results I've been banging on about. In the end Dave missed out on the position by about 300 votes but came in a clear second. I'm gutted for him but also immensely proud to have been involved in his campaign. He worked tirelessly and gave 'more established' names in the running a real scare.

Tomorrow is Open regionals for The Fish, our biggest tournament of the year. Huge weekend ahead.
