Immuniser

I completed some face to face training at Penrith today to become an immuniser. I can potentially work on my own giving adult vaccines following local protocols. Prior to today as a vaccinator I had to work under indirect supervision. Also anyone can be a vaccinator whereas immunisers should have a professional nursing or medical qualification. This has opened up a whole new world for me in terms of availability. I’m excited by the prospect. Rib still tweaks but life needs to go on so I’ll stop twining about it for now.
