The Summer that keeps on Giving...

Another blazing summer day here in the City of Sails...well our out of the way corner of it. The Eldest went over to a friend's for a play and I went over to one of my friend's place today. My mission was to help figure out what our theme for next Saturday's Reel Girl fishing comp is going to be. We've decided on Fishing Fairies. What a sight THAT will be. Should be a laugh.

It was so glorious that we decided to go to the beach after the Eldest came home and took a picnic tea along with us. We were joined by 2 families who we are friends with, plus dragged along the Eldest's bestie, who is now here having a sleepover. We stayed at the beach until sunset and it was just divine.

The Youngest remains desperate for a dog, and because of this, she always approaches people at the beach who have dogs, and asks if their dogs need playing with while they swim. This was one of those occasions where the owners keenly accepted. The Youngest and her BFF (also dog mad) played with this gorgeous hound until we called them for tea. The dog decided that they needed to keep playing so tried to bring the stick to our picnic.

Rabbit = No dog.
