Reko’s Point

Jill went biking and took Frida. I dropped them off at the beginning of the Upper Clutha River Track, and then drove to the Short Cut Road car park and walked for an hour and then met up with them.
It’s a lovely easy walk that starts off high above the river and then gradually goes riverside.
It was so quiet- until a Jet boat came along giving visitors a thrill on the river. I’d almost forgotten what they were like as so few tourists around taking these rides.
