Biltong

Some time ago we decided to try making biltong, which is South African dried meet. Apparently it's dry enough in Iceland that one does not have to use any special oven nor tools. It can just hang by an open window. We bought quite a lot of meet and cut it in strips. It needed spices and then it hanged there for a few days. It shrinked alot, which I suppose is natural, but it tastes very well and it is so easy to make. We will definitely do it again.
