This was frustrating.  This dimmer switch is rather sticky and I resolved to change it.  It took a while to find a switch suitable for LED bulbs and then the job took a while to mature (it doesn't do to get things done immediately, or someone will expect that to happen all the time ;-))

But I resolved to get it done and took a photo of the many coloured wires to ensure that I could get them in the right place in the new switch.  All went well until I realised that one of the terminal screws in the new switch wasn't tightening on the wire when I turned it.  The blimmin' thing was u/s!

Oh well, back to Wickes I go, when I can.
