Pied Wagtail #47

At last the day has arrived and my 6 inches of grey roots are no more! I normally hate going to the hairdressers as they always take way too long as they have multiple clients on the go. But today was MUCH quicker with only one person per stylist and only 4 stylists working(sometimes there can be about 10 of them at the weekend). But it's done now :)
So that was the morning gone in a flash. After lunch we had just started a quick walk back at Spike Island when I got a call from my mum to ask if we were anywhere close as their car wouldn't start!  So we hot-footed it over there and I ran her round to the hairdressers which is only 5 minutes away in the car. She only has short hair so it only takes her 10-15 minutes to get it cut and then we were back home again. Not sure if it actually was a flat battery or what, but after some time with the next door neighbours battery charger, it started again and we gave it a good run on the motorway to hopefully charge it up again(if that's what the cause was). So that was most of the afternoon gone. We didn't go back to Spike as there were a few spots of rain on the way back home which then didn't amount to anything. Hopefully we will get some overnight. 

I didn't take many shots at Spike as we didn't get as far as the canal, but luckily this pied wagtail was happy to pose on a fence post for my blip - much better than being at a motorway service station or a supermarket car park where they can normally be found!
