Only a minute or two of Sunshine....

...today. This was one of them. I had to dash into town to collect Aedan . He wanted to hang out with his mates (and girlfriend) after school and his rugby match in Fermoy was cancelled. Colm turned up in the evening and promptly went out again!
There's a mistle thrush nesting some where at the bottom of the garden. They always nest so early, and so low in the tree, usually not much higher than 8 or 9 foot off the ground. I love their song.
Early varieties of tomatoes planted, one courgette showing, destined for a life in the tunnel. Shallots doing well, garlic almost 6 inches tall, first and second early spuds in, mangetout peas doing well (inside tunnel). We just need some good spring sunshine now.
