NHS

It’s a sobering thought that I’m older than the NHS!  I was born in hospital so I looked up how it was financed. Apparently the government paid for maternity care as they wanted people to have children during the war. I’ll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to why. Norm had a routine appointment so I went along and waited in the car. I drove home along the motorway just to get back in the swing of things.
