Edinburgh Botanics - Golden Monkey
A great afternoon with my friend D. We walked to the botanics then onto Inverleith Park and Stockbridge. I had to get Australian artist Lisa Roet's golden monkey into my blip record for the year! The inflatable 10 feet sculpture is part of a programme to draw attention to the global climate crisis. The golden snub-nosed monkey is an endangered species found in high altitudes in Yunnan, China. The sculpture is on the side of Inverleith House in the Edinburgh Botanics. Superb!
