Welcome Rain

Overnight rain! April has been one of the driest and frostiest on record apparently, with just a couple of days to go. It's strange to have had so little rain in the month of April.

I'm happy about the rain but not so much about the return to the cold. To think that a few days ago I went on my walk in short sleeves and needing a sunhat. Today it was back to the winter jacket, woolly hat and gloves.
