Social whirl

Lots of meetings online today, but dashed out late morning to meet up with AH, TF and V for an actual coffee in an actual cafe! Oh the excitement....we talked and laughed and grinned for an hour and it was so good. AH telling us about her kidney stones and upcoming knee surgery...should have been grim but she brought out the funny side of it all.
Raced home again for the next meeting and enjoyed finalising the winners in our staff awards...good spread of people and we all agreed which was a relief! Next meeting less satisfying and I didn’t say a word but fumed quietly...
Back over to the other Soderberg to meet up with D who I haven’t seen for a few years and catch up on a lot of gossip about the organisation we both belonged to and which is currently imploding. We chatted away about his current project and new job, future presidents, pandemics, fraud and car parking..nice to catch up.
Home and made the last of my box meals then set about finalising A’s jumper (had to resew one arm as I’d sewn it inside out!).
Another busy day tomorrow....
