A quick shot of the emergency blip tree, a dove instead of an eagle today.  I found my iMac very confused this morning.  After nearly three hours with apple support it was decided to do a reinstall of the operation system.  I will say it was time consuming to do the trouble shooting but the tech support was great and when I did the reinstall it went very smoothly and the computer seems to be working fine.  Just took a great portion of the day, so a quick trip to the back deck for my blip today
