Aye aye

Rain today, after many dry weeks that had gardeners worried. I got soaked through on the way home and had to buy a new umbrella.

Found a good looking pair of sunglasses in a chemists but did not buy them because it wasn't sunny. Was saved from ordering a new pair of work shoes/trainers by the discovery of a brand new pair, given to me a year ago, during the first lockdown! Clearly they had not been needed at the time.

I'm very tired. An afternoon rest turned into a sleep. The next few days will be spent at home, being quiet, working my way through my to-do list. Maybe I'll even finish the jigsaw. Promises, promises...
